The Free VPN Service Also Arrives on Opera's Stable App For Android

Opera has announced that it has brought the possibility of using its VPN for free to all Android users. Starting from version 51, downloadable from the Play Store using the badge at the end of the article, the functionality also arrives on mobile devices equipped with the green robot.

The news comes at the end of an experiment that lasted several years: initially the VPN was in fact the prerogative of the desktop version for a long time and then landed in the beta for Android last month.

The service offered by Opera consists of a 256-bit encrypted connection which, by connecting to servers around the world, makes it impossible to trace back to your location.

At the moment it is not clear if there will be the possibility to choose between America, Europe, Asia or the best connection among the available ones, as we have seen in the beta version. In any case, Opera promises that no user activity log will be kept, once again guaranteeing the absolute privacy of the service.
