Huawei's first Smart TV is now beautiful and ready: two 55-inch and 65-inch models arriving in April
The auspicious time seems to have arrived also for Huawei: the first Smart TV of the Shenzen giant is around the corner according to what a manager has declared.

The turn of Huawei and HONOR towards smart TVs was already in the air for a while. We had already talked about it a couple of months ago and, more recently, there were even rumors of a 55-inch Smart TV HONOR next to launch.

And so it is that today's indiscretion does not happen like a bolt from the blue, but rather comes as a novelty that has made its way gradually in a field that in recent times is seeing more and more new players eager to have their say ( Xiaomi or, lately OnePlus, just to name a couple).

Anyway, let's go back to our Huawei Smart TV, a product about to hit the markets in April (probably Asians for the moment). Here, the model we refer to would be available in two sizes, one 55-inch and one larger 65-inch.

In both cases, the displays would not be proprietary but produced by a company named Huaxing Optoelectronics, owned by BOE, a company that we know is very close to Huawei.

For the moment, no other details have emerged on these smart TVs, but rumors recently spoke of 5G support, double cameras and a certain desire to rejuvenate the sector a bit. How (or if) they will do so we will find out shortly since April is now one step away.
