After the confirmations released a few weeks ago by Xiaomi's product manager, Wang Teng Thomas, let's talk about the flagship retractable front camera, thanks to some traces found on the Net.
The author of the discovery was franztesca, XDA Member and developer of the XiaoMiTool app. The Chinese manufacturer is testing a shell command that runs some tests on an engine, with the pop and push commands activated by a camera key.
The smartphone in question has the name in the code davinci and will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 platform. Mishaal Rahman, editor-in-chief of XDA, does not lean on the name of the possible flagship, even if the list of candidates seems decidedly narrow.
If the launch of the smartphone was imminent we could think of a Xiaomi Mi MIX 3S, or a POCOPHONE F2, while more dilated times leave the door open to the hypothesis Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, which however would arrive in the second part of 2019.
At the moment there are no certain hypotheses, so we will have to wait for further news that could arrive already in the coming weeks.
